The aim of the course is to provide the student
with:
insights into business development in the Nordic
context, including an understanding of the key
elements of market analysis, and key
considerations and challenges with market entry
and market position development

The student is able to:
· demonstrate understanding of the central
elements of market analysis
. discuss key considerations and risks with new
market entry
. compare/contrast strengths and weaknesses with
alternative market entry strategies
. demonstrate a sound understanding of challenges
and opportunities relating to market position
establishment and development

Attending a minimum of 9 guest lectures of the
courses:
Analyzing the Nordic Business Environment
Planning and preparing market entry in a Nordic
country
Establishing and developing a market position in
a Nordic country
Reflective learning diary
ca. 6 articles relating to course content above

A bachelor?s degree and at least two years work
experience gained after completing the higher
education degree. The course is limited to degree
students in the MBA program. A student on the
Nordic track may not select this elective study.

Please note that you need to attend a minimum of nine GUEST lectures. You will be informed of the exact times of all guest lectures when they become available. For now it makes sense to reserve all/most dates of the courses, and adjust your calendar when the exact times become available.

- attend guest lectures (min. 9 times)

- read 6 articles
- turn in a completed learning diary synthesizing
the lecture, article contents and own reflection
