The aim of the course is to provide the student
with:
fundamental conceptual knowledge of what FinTech
entails and insights into the opportunities and
challenges the industry faces with the new
technologies. Focus on financial transactions and
Analytics.

The student is able to:
. explain the key concepts of FinTech
. discuss key development trends and
opportunities created/challenges faced by these
innovative technologies
. discuss future opportunities and challenges
with FinTech for financial transactions
. demonstrate an understanding of how data
analytics can facilitate business operations
. discuss how data analytics might change
business environments

Attending a minimum of 9 guest lectures in
courses:
FinTech in the past, present and future
FinTech for financial transactions
Data and analytics for FinTech
Reflective learning diary
ca. 6 articles relating to course content above

A bachelor?s degree and at least two years work
experience gained after completing the higher
education degree. The course is limited to degree
students in the MBA program. A student on the
Fintech track may not select this Elective study
alternative.

Student should attempt to attend lectures somewhat
evenly through the three courses.

Please note that you need to attend a minimum of nine GUEST lectures. You will be informed of the exact times of all guest lectures when they become available. For now it makes sense to reserve all/most dates of the courses, and adjust your calendar when the exact times become available.

- attend guest lectures (min. 9 times)
- keep a reflective learning diary
- read 6 articles
- turn in a completed learning diary synthesizing
the lecture, article contents and own reflection
