Upon completion of this study unit:

You understand the basics of Finnish employment
law. (Knowledge)

You can define management processes that consider
different collective agreements. (Knowledge)

You grasp the basic principles of organisational
culture. (Knowledge)

You know how to set up an HR strategy, understand
the concept of HR planning and strategic
leadership. (Knowledge)

You can apply various recruitment techniques and
understand the basics of the selection process,
induction and retention. (Skills)

You understand the basics of performance
management. (Knowledge)

You can apply tools for conflict management,
dismissals,
redundancies and outplacement. (Skills)

You understand how to apply a human resource
management strategy that respects health, safety
