Kompetensmål

By the end of the course the student will be able to:

Recognize and analyze organizational culture and by this discusses factors that contribute to a ethical and sustainable working practice (knowledge and attitudes)

Explain and interpret actions in workplaces that could promote workers well being and that are both inclusive and empowering (knowledge and attitudes)

Identify and describe forces of organizational change and how these can be actively worked with in order to promote innovation and entrepreneurship. (knowledge and skills)

Läranderesultat

At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to:

1. Name and show the relationship between society culture and organizational culture with a clear focus on Nordic leadership and CSR, corporate social responsibility

2. Identify health promotion actions that could be introduces in their own working context and evaluates them.

3. Give examples on diversity management and presents actions that promotes participation and equality for workers in order to create sustainable workplaces.

4. Describe different ethical dilemmas in working life and suggests reflexive solutions for building an a ethical organizational environment.

5. Point out elements for change management and student choose one working life trend and analyses its consequences for workers.

Observe that this course is an extensive course module consisting of three courses. We encourage and recommend to take them all, but it is possible to taker only one course.
