The aim of the course is that the student

- Has basic knowledge of human
life cycle
and understands the importance of understanding the
human from a lifecycle perspective...

- understands the importance of different stages in
individual development
- understands the individual need of support in
various life situations and can identify individual
strengths and opportunities for activity , play and
participation.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected to
be able to:

- Describe the theories of human development
- Identify challenges during the development in
different stages of human life and be able to reflect
on them
- Use developmental theories as part of the life-
cycle perspective
- Reflect on their own development
- See the importance of the development of play and
its significance in childhood and through the
lifecycle
