Competency aims

The aim of the course is to encourage and instill
the ability to identify, understand and create
academic critical argumentation.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is
expected to be able to identify a
suitable academic research topic, access
research-based knowledge, conduct critical
reading in an effective manner, and combine
these to form a concise and evidence-based
written argument.

Course contents

This course introduces media management as an
area of academic applied research. Students
will be introduced to a variety of methods and
techniques that will allow them to access,
understand and write evidence-based research
papers in the field.

Prerequisites and co-requisites

A bachelor degree and at least three years work
experience gained after completing the higher
education degree
