Learning outcomes

Knowledge
- You understand the importance of your role as the producer in relation to the entire production process.
- You understand the characteristics of distribution and marketing of audiovisual products, as well as what financing of distribution and marketing means.

Skills
- You have control over the entire post-production process and can design a marketing and distribution plan and can archive the film according to given specifications.
- You handle the payments and report the expenses that the recordings entailed.
- You fulfill any agreements with e.g. participants and other partners.
- You check that the film reaches all legal aspects regarding agreements governing copyrights (such as music rights) other agreements.
- You compile a so-called press kit in collaboration with the other specializations to collect all material that distribution and marketing requires.

Approach
- You can adapt your business to work in different types of teams and have insight into the tasks and needs of the different specializations, and have a comprehensive overview of the production process.
- You understand the importance of good communication, as well as good and constructive cooperation.

Additional information

Compulsory attendance (80% of the lecture
lessons).
The presentations have to be made in front of
the class at the specified time.
No tasks can be made after the course ending.

plan for the previous plans
