Competency aims
The aim of the course is to give students such preparedness in medical and surgical problems that they can act in their own profession.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to understand
- the etiology and pathophysiology of medical and surgical problems
- symptoms, treatments and prognosis
- the effects, interactions and side-effects of different drugs
- immunological problems concerning medical diseases
- the effect of viruses and bacterias as well the treatment of different diseases caused by micro-organisms
- the basic examinations of clinical physiology
