Course contents
The course is a production-oriented course. Production can be a fictional short film, documentary, an online project or something crossmedial.
The course begins with an idea pitch where individual students or a group of students present their project.
The course is divided into three phases. Pre-production, production and post-production.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Film and media students should have completed the
courses Fiktivt berättande and Visuellt berättande.
Online students should have completed the courses
Conceptual thinking/Pitching Ideas.
Additional information
Mandatory presence is required during scheduled
tutoring, pitching, evaluation and during the
production process. The manuscripts that are
presented at the pitch should have been developed
during the manuscript course, prior to this
course. Exceptions are pilot projects and films of
more experimental nature.
To pass the course, the student must have had an
given position during the film production and
managed the responsibilities tied to this
position.The position can also consist of several
roles during the film production.
In this course, we mainly use Email and
ItsLearning as communications tools.

Supporting literature is given by the tutoring
teacher.

Assessment requirements
TTo pass the course, the student must have a responsible role in the production. The individual tutoring sessions throughout the production process are also taken into account in the assessment of the course. In connection with the final production the student is writing an reflection of what's been the biggest challenge during the process, depending on their specialization. Reflection is written after given designe available on Itslearning.
