To give knowledge of functional materials and their relevant applications

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected to be able -to relate the structure of the material to the functional properties of the product -to choose an appropriate functional material for different applications and manufacturing processes -to define the origin of functionality for chosen products
