Competency aims

After successfully completing the course a
student masters the fundamentals of thermal
comfort and is able to calculate risks for
moisture condensation on various building
elements with known U-values. He/she is
likewise able to visualize zones of thermal
comfort with modern simulation methods.

Learning outcomes

After successfully completing the course a
student understands the connection between
insulation characteristics of a part of a
building element and thermal comfort as well
associated risks regarding moisture
condensation. In addition, a student visualize
comfort zones with modern simulation software.
