Competency aims

The aim with the course is to introduce the student to the field of distribution channels. Concepts, the influence of e-business and different techniques are also presented. Students are able to work in teams and implement a webshop in the cloud.

Learning outcomes

- The student has a good command of the principles for order handling, distribution and payments in a online retail store - The student is able to work in teams and implement a webshop in a clould environment - The student can identify business critical processes - The student can define opportunities, problems and risks with e-business - The student can compare different business models for eCommerce within different lines of business - The student get insight into different business processes in a web‐shop from both a consumer and a retailer perspective and knowledge regarding issues in international trade.
