The course aims to develop professional
communication skills related to physiotherapy,
both written and spoken.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is
expected to
- be able to demonstrate lexical and
grammatical competence in written and spoken
professional contexts. - be able to demonstrate the ability to write
effective key professional documents, including
letters, work applications & CVs. - be able to prepare and deliver a presentation
of professional interest with effective use of
IT tools, e.g. PowerPoint. - to be able to participate in routine customer
service interactions in English. - have enhanced the ability to participate in
social communication in the professional
setting common to routine interactions. - have developed his/her reading skills and
acquired essential vocabulary within the field.
