The Board of Arcada University of Applied Sciences Ltd has decided to initiate change negotiations that apply to all employees. The decision was made on financial grounds and based on the need for concrete measures to reduce costs.
Earth Hour began as a single-city initiative in Sydney, Australia in 2007 and has since grown into a global movement across every continent switching off lights to take a concrete climate action. Arcada joins as a part of our Green Office values.

The Baltic University Programme (BUP) and Tallinn University welcome you to the student conference ‘Water and the Baltic City: Building Climate Resilience’ on 23–26 April. The conference is free for Arcada students.
