Arcada’s change negotiations have concluded, and the outcome is now finalised. The primary objective was to reduce costs and ensure long-term financial sustainability. The negotiations involved all staff members.
The savings that Arcada will have to make are substantial; 1.4 million euros per year. Altogether, redundancies applied to 18 people, and significant changes in the working conditions applied to 7 people. In practice, this means that Arcada has also had to decide to request permission to discontinue three programmes. The programmes are:
- The Swedish bachelor programme Kulturproducentskap
- The Swedish bachelor programme Idrottsinstruktör
- The English master programme Media Management
