Arcada's career counsellors helps you as an Arcada student or recent graduate with your career planning and your next step. We are here for you who have questions and concerns regarding careers, jobs, or future plans.

Are you unsure about your career choices?

We support you in your choice of current and future education based on your situation. We support you in getting clarity on your career options, identify your skills and put them into words, and make a career plan. With us, you can also explore how to expand your professional network and introduce yourself to employers.

Our career counsellors support you with practical job search and help you improve your CV and application and prepare you for job interviews. Please note that Career Centre Arcada has no agreements with companies regarding internships or jobs. Students are responsible for finding their internship positions.

The Career Centre organises career-related events and offers group guidance or individual guidance sessions on campus and online. Feel free to book an appointment for guidance to get advice and tips for your job search or to have your CV, cover letter or LinkedIn profile checked.

Do you have career questions or want tips on job hunting? 

Drop-in times on campus during the autumn semester are from 25 August to 15 December 2026 from 11:30 to 13:00. You can find us in the library in C244. Come as you are – no booking required.

Karriärklubben – Career Club meets on the last Tuesday of the month at 16:15-18:00 starting from 29 September. The following dates are 27 October and 24 November. The Career Club is an initiative for Arcada students from all study years and all fields, led by students and supported by our career counsellors.

You are of course welcome to visit us at the Arcada Career Centre at other times, but we may have pre-booked guidance sessions or meetings. Feel free to knock on our door in the library or say hello when we meet in the corridors!

We offer counselling both on campus and online in Swedish, Finnish, English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
