The student union is looking for a student representative for the Board of Arcada University of Applied Sciences Ltd.
The board of Board of Arcada University of Applied Sciences Ltd. is responsible for the administration of the UAS and that the operations are organized in the right way. It ensures that the accounting follows regulations and that the asset management is properly managed.
The board's tasks include leading and supervising the operational management, appointing and dismissing the rector, approving the strategy and risk management, and ensuring the management system. The board calls general meetings and presents proposals that comply with laws and the articles of association.
Meetings are held 6-7 times a year and decisions are made when more than half of the members are present. The rector presents matters to the board.
The board consists of 7-9 members, of which two are appointed by the university community - one from the staff and one student representative is elected by the ASK delegate council. The fees are determined by the general meeting and reported in the financial statements. The deadline for applications is 28.2.2025 at 12:00. Please note that the working language of the Board is Swedish and fluency in Swedish is required for the position.
