The new plan is called "An Inclusive Arcada" and emphasises our shared responsibility to make gender equality and equal treatment a reality at Arcada. The plan will be accompanied by an action plan.
The new plan outlines our goal-oriented work on gender equality and equal treatment over the next three years. The plan recognises that everyone, staff and students alike, has a responsibility to take action to promote equality and to highlight any shortcomings in this area. Only through shared commitment can we build an inclusive and respectful organisational culture that actively combats all forms of discrimination.
The plan has been developed under the auspices of the Occupational Safety and Health Commission in active collaboration with staff and students. In 2021, the Occupational Safety and Health Commission invited both staff and students to workshops, and the ASK student body also organised its own workshop exclusively for students.
