At Arcada it is everyone's responsibility to contribute to a safe and secure work and study environment. Familiarise yourself with the updated pages on crisis and security at Arcada to make sure you know the most important things.
Under the heading Arcada UAS and Campus, you find the section Safety and crisis management. There you find information about immediate actions in a crisis, security reports and the crisis management team. You will also find instructions for crisis situations and abnormal events.
Everyday safety at Arcada
Arcada's Head of security leads and coordinates the everyday safety and security work. You can contact the Head of security both for preventive purposes (in case of suspicions or concerns) or if something has happened. Contact details can be found here.
Daytime 8.30-15.45 you can always visit Arcada's info desk if you have questions or observations regarding security at Arcada.
After 15.30, there is a Securitas guard in the building. The evening guard is stationed in the info, but also patrols the campus. Arcada has a continuous dialogue with Securitas, so that everyone is kept up to date on current cases.
Security reports
Remember Arcada's safety reporting tool External link, where you can and should report observations, incidents, accidents, threats or inappropriate behaviour that affect safety and the environment at Arcada. It is important that you report all events so that we can prevent bigger accidents and investigate incidents.
The reports are primarily handled by our Head of Security, but the different categories have different responsible persons. All reports are treated confidentially and anonymously.
Remember that there is no such thing as an unnecessary report - however, there can be serious consequences if you do not report things you have reacted to.
