Competency aims

The student is capable of creating budgets:
Income, Balance, Cash-flow budgets.
The student can prepare and implement a project
plan, understand the basics of project
management
and being able to evaluate the outcomes of the
project.

Learning outcomes

After the course the Student understands the
linkage between a Strategy, Projects and the
Budgets. The student can prepare project budgets,
create project plans and implement them.

Course contents

Budgeting and Budgets:
Income statement budgets
Balance sheet forecasts
Cash-flow budgets.

Project Management and Leadership.

Prerequisites and co-requisites

Introduction to Business Administration,
Introduction to Financial Management, or
equivalent knowledge (needs to be discussed with
the examiner).

Recommended or required reading

The course literature is not limited to the
literature listed below. The student can freely
use alternative literature with similar contents.

Part 2: Project management, hand-in assignment
