Course contents

In this course you learn about the life in
organizations with the help of metaphors
and
theories related to organizational
culture. The
course is very hands on and will develop
your
analytical skills. A metaphor provides a
lens for
interpreting novel organizational
situations and
developing a sense for how individual and
group
behaviors are organized. Organization and
organizational behavior from different
perspectives

structure,

Organizational processes; communication,
learning, change, leadership, decision

The relation between the organization and
the
outer context

Analyzing and a real organization with the
help
of the introduced tools (metaphors)

Way of working: interactive discussion

Prerequisites and co-requisites

20 cr completed from the subject module.

Additional information

The course requires attendance and
activity in the
discussion seminars on campus where
presentations
and analysis of own case company are
elaborated
on.
