The aim of the course is to give the student a
basic knowledge of Finnish and ability to manage
in
everyday situations, to practice the pronunciation
and vocabulary by reading everyday life texts.

Within this study unit we focus on the following
competences:
4 quality education
5 gender equality
8 decent work and economic growth
10 reduced inequalities
16 peace, justice and strong institutions

At the end of the course you have the knowledge
about how to act in basic everyday situations and
to have a basic knowledge of the Finnish language.
You learn about some basic structures and for
example to manage verb conjugation in present
tense.
You learn about
- the basic principles of Finnish pronunciation
- numbers and the clock
- how to ask and answer simple questions
about yourself, studies and work
- the basic principals of Finnish
pronunciation
- learn about the numbers and the clock
- the days of the week
- how to ask and answer simple questions
about everyday situations.
- you have the knowledge about how to communicate
in simple cafeteria situations

No prerequisites are required.

Attendance in classes is compulsory.
