The aim of the course is: The student develops competence in one´s culturally sensitive expertise.

At the end of the course the student is expected
to be able to:

Know how to use and apply key theoretical approaches

Are familiar with and know how to apply evidence-based information in the promotion of the health and well-being of minorities and immigrants

Know how to act in a culturally sensitive manner and support equality in customer work and work communities

Know how to assess their actions as a specialist as they consider the diversity and multi culturality of customers/patients

Are familiar with the central legislation and obey it in their work

Course contents
- cultural sensitivity, diversity, multiculturality and key theoretical approaches
- evidence-based information in the promotion of the health and wellbeing of minorities and immigrants
