At the end of the course the student is expected
to be able to:
- consider the diversity, multiculturalism and life situation of children, young people and families in promoting and guiding health
- apply the basics of medical care typical of the operating environment in the care of children and adolescence
- observe risk factors for infection in the operating environment and work aseptically correctly
- identify the risk areas of the medication administration process and act in accordance with the competence requirements of the medication administration
- support adolescents and their families to use online self-care funds, to support self-care and disease rehabilitation
- identify threats and characteristics of disadvantage and exclusion of children, adolescents and families and can act in accordance with the love and ethical principles of their fellow human beings
- identify needs for early intervention in the lives of children, adolescents and families and can use early intervention and resourceful working methods
- identify mental and spiritual growth and need for help in children and young people, as well as apply methods of helpful interaction and spiritual care in a caring relationship
- support a relationship and parenting
- guide adolescents and their families to use appropriate health and social services as well as third sector services
- assess the stage of their professional growth as well as highlight challenges in the development in the care of children, adolescents and families
