Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected
to beable to understand values ​​and principles for palliative care and convalescent care
and understand the importance of spirituality in society and what function healthcare has for the patient.

Objectives and core content:

Student:
-understands value principles and principles for palliative care and convalescent care

-understand the different meanings of individual spirituality in society and nursing activities that promote survival and spiritual well-being
- can implement terminally ill
and humane care for the patient and support for the patient's relatives
- can identify and meet the mental, existential and spiritual needs in different life situations and to take care of spiritual care and knows methods of help
-can plan and network multidisciplinary teamwork for the patient and support the quality of life for the relatives
- can use the third sector's services and activities in a customer-oriented way
in palliative care and with regard to spiritual needs
