Competency aims
The course gives fundamental knowledge about the structure and function of the musculoskeletal system of the human being, palpation skills concerning the anatomical structures and skills to apply basic biomechanics in analysis of movement.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected to
- have knowledge about and be able to describe the the structure and the function of the musculoskeletal system
- be able to identify and name bones, joints and muscles in Swedish and Latin
- by palpating identify the anatomical structures
- show knowledge about the conformities to biomechanical laws.
