The aim of the course is that the student gets more specific and larger knowledge and skills in the care for a critically ill patient.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to
- take care of a critically ill patient
- consider ethical issues
- use anatomical and physiological knowledge in the care of critical ill patients
Course contents
- medical issues in the care of critically ill patients
- extended knowledge of the anatomy and physiology for patients with problems of the hearth and respiration
- ethical issues in the care of a critically ill patient
