Competency aims

The student improves her/his lingual awareness and develops tools
for different types of writing.

Learning outcomes

After the course the student is able to
1.Create different type of text and use the process writing
method
2.Use language and communicative strategies in various
communication situations
3.Know where and how he/she continuously can improve the
communicative knowledge, use dictionaries, handbooks and it-
sources
4.Identify different types of errors and explain the reasons
behind them
5.Improve tools for journalistic writing and web writing
6.Improve lingual awareness
7.Analyse different types of text

Course contents

Terms, translation, journalistic language, web language. Practice in
journalistic writing and web writing.

Swedish as a mother tongue or similar knowledge of Swedish
