The aim of the course is to focus on the exposure
to and practice of general language functions,
both in spoken and written language (= CEFR A.1.2)

At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to tell something about himself or herself, his/her family and hobbies
- form simple sentences and questions in the present tense
- talk about their studies and work and living using a simple language

Basic grammatical structures, such as the plural of nouns and the past tense ( preteritum).
Pronunciation and vocabulary.
Texts and dialogues.
The Swedish culture in both Finland and Sweden.

Swedish for Beginners 1 (or level A.1.1)

Examination 1 written exam
