Competency aims
The aim of the course is that the student will know
the most common logistical concepts and models.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course the student is expected
to be able to identify logistical concepts.
The student should know the material,
information, return, and monetary flow in a
supply chain. The student should see the role of
the packaging and be aware of the connection
between logistics and environment. The student is
expected to be aware of inventory levels and
inventory turnover times as well to be able to
calculate an easy ABC-analysis. The student must
be able to calculate order quantity with an easy
EOQ-model and understand the implications of the
result.Further the student should be able to
connect transport modes to different usage
