Competency aims
The competency aims are threefold:
- to develop and consolidate presentation skills
- to develop audiovisual thinking as a means of presentation
- to clarify own ability to design and manage projects.
Learning outcomes
The purpose of the course is to further develop the project ideas started in previous courses (Vision and Narrative, Concept Development). The aim is to develop and to complete a professional pitch during this course to be able to substantiate the project outside of the Media Management program.
Course contents
Students will develop a pitch for the professional media industry of today. Students will bring their project idea to the course presenting a first draft for a pitch of the planned project. During the course students will develop and finalize this pitch. Students are encouraged to utilize different available and suitable tools to produce audiovisual material for the pitch such as photographs, video and Internet based content. Students are expected to produce this material them self with the possibility of instruction and coaching by professionals in the industry.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
- The courses MM-2-011 Vision and Narrative, MM-2-012 Concept Development.
- A bachelor degree and at least three years work experience gained after completing the higher education degree.

Attendance in class is mandatory. Absence must be announced to examiner in advance and compensating tasks will be given to substitute absence.
Students not present during first block of classes will be removed from course enrollment.
