The structure of the course goes from simple exercises to production of short audiovisual features, planning and production of a reportage takes place partially in parallel to this.

Prerequisites and co-requisites

In order to participate in the course, the student must complete the following eligibility requirements:

1. The student has passed the course MK-2-112 (0) - Introduction to storytelling (10 credits) or has
presented documentation on equivalent education that shows that the student is capable to use image and sound in the cinematic the narration, understand the idea with the picture narration
and the difference between a visual narrative that is observational and one that has an assertion and a perspective. The student understand the importance of teamwork, is able to cooperate
towards a common goal and has basic knowledge of theories in cinematic dramaturgy.

2. The student has passed all exercises within the course MK-2-113 (0) - Introduction to media production (10 credits) or has presented documentation on other equivalent training showing that the student is capable of working in teams, creating simplier single camera productions as well as using common audiovisual production equipment.

Additional information

Regarding attendance in the course:
- Compulsory attendance (80%, absence with notification in advance)
- Please note that attendance is a prerequisite for functioning group dynamics in the course.
- Absence can affect the possibilities for own choices for the course activities and may cause compensatory tasks.
- Feedback sessions and presentations require presence for fair discussion of
work performance.

Approved (all) practice tasks
Participation in the course production (Reportage)

The basis for assessment in the course are implementation of skills (course productions)
and submission tasks.
Ability to work in team and reflection on the production processes, as well as activity during lectures, can affect the grade.
