Course contents

The course is a student driven project course of practical nature. The production can be a part of a short film production (fiction or documentary), a game, an online project or something cross media.

Prerequisites and co-requisites

Foundational studies in Online Media or turning up with a project idea and having the technical knowledge to do the project.

Additional information

Compulsory attendance for tutorings, pitches and evaluation sessions as well as during production.

Recommended or required reading

Course literature will be pointed out based on the productions.

Essays, reports, productions and portfolio

Assessment requirements

To pass the course, the student must have a clear role and area of responsibility in a production. The tutoring sessions throughout the production process are also taken into account in the assessment of the course. In connection with the final production the student is writing a reflection of what has been the biggest challenge during the process, depending on their specialization. The reflection is written in a final report, model available on Itslearning.

Assessment criterias for the course Final Project:

-An evaluation of activity; participation in tutoring lectures and project management.
-An evaluation of the studets responsibility and drive in the production.
-An evaluation of the production viewed from the students specialization; ability to take initiative, problem solving.
-Kommunikation; Reflektionen (slutrapport) samt veckovis rapportering och kommunikation med examinator.
-Communication; The reflection (final report), weekly reporting and communication with involved teacher.
-An evaluation of the production.

The evaluation of the students are made by involved teachers.
