Knowledge
You have a solid knowledge of the production
phases involved in the production of audiovisual
stories, especially from a recording leadership
role.
- You have a solid knowledge of the most important
concepts, processes and tools for managing content
production produced through a film production.

Skill
- You can challenge your limits in your leadership
of a film crew
- You can participate and lead the planning and
realization of a production in consultation with
representatives from other professional roles for
the highest possible quality result.
- You can apply equipment required for the
leadership role within a film production.
- You can problematize and define specific
personal objectives as part of a whole and common
objectives for a production in order to achieve
the best possible qualitative results.

Approach
- You understand the role of leadership in
creative activities and can lead a film team
towards common goals in a production group.
- You behave responsibly towards the producer and
the producer's responsibility in your leadership
to achieve a qualitative result within a given
budget.

The course includes lectures on the following
themes:
Introduction to Shooting Management of Short Film.
Transparency in the preparation of the recording
Collaboration with director
Decomposition of scripts
Team leadership
Call sheet
Scheduling
Permit procedure
Regulations and regulations in film production
Agreement
Lectures are held approximately once a week with
associated tasks that are carried out as self-
studies in addition. As an external student, you
have the opportunity to continue practicing the
theory in a production designated by the education
program for an additional 10 credits. The
production takes place during the spring term
during one of two production periods 26.2-
29.3.2024.

The participant should be at the end of their
studies and have completed most of the specific
studies as well as the internship. The course is
also offered to non-degree students. Then the
participant should have a suitable degree in film,
media or cultural production or through e.g. work
experience acquired competence.

Possible to achieve 5-15 cr.

• Lectures - 35 hours
• Excursions and demonstrations - 5 hours
• Individual studies - 95 hours

• Total workload of the course: 135 hours
• Of which autonomous studies: 135 hours
• Of which scheduled studies: 0 hours

Participation in tuition

• Demonstrations and proficiency exams
• Essays, reports, productions and portfolio

For a passing performance, the student is required
to take the following examinations:
Submission of all assignments with a pass grade.
