Course contents

The study unit provides a unique opportunity to explore literature in the field of film and media through the student's own initiative.

The course literature is determined in dialogue with the examiner for the course, both in terms of content and scope. The course does not include any compulsory lectures, but is conducted as self-study based on the agreed theme and associated bibliography. Examination can take place through an exam, a summary of the literature or through a discussion text based on the selected literature.

Themes can for example be:
Film history
Documentary
Music and sound production
Image composition and visual structure
Production
Script and film direction
Media analysis

Prerequisites and co-requisites

Good prior knowledge at the end of the studies in the field covered by the proposed literature.

Additional information

Please note that the course does not have an open registration period. Interest in participating in the course is reported by e-mail to the course examiner. The examiner notifies the participant after approval of the literature that forms the content of the study unit.
