Course contents
A maturity test is a written examination to
demonstrate your knowledge in the field of
the thesis. If you have received your formal
education in Finland in Finnish or in Swedish
the maturity exam also demonstrates your
proficiency in Finnish or Swedish (= in your
school language before you started at
Arcada).
In the maturity exam you will show your
ability to write an essay on the topic that
is related to your degree thesis without
using any additional support material. You
write the maturity test when your thesis is
approved and you have presented it. You will
agree the date and time of the maturity test
with your supervisor.

The maturity exam is an essay of about 400
words. The test is written on computer in a
