the basics of
cultural production

The SDG:s in focus are 4, 9 and 12

The aim of the course is to make the student
familiar with the occupation. They will learn to
see the significant role of art and culture in
society and especially the working opportunities
of the cultural producer. They will also become
familiar with different ways to view and define
art.

Knowledge

You are familiar with the profession. You know the
importance and role of art and culture in society
as well as the cultural producer's opportunities
to be active in the field

Skill

You can define the role of a Cultural Manager as
well as her/his/their task and have an overview of
the cultural field

Attitude

You are a respectful part of the cultural
ecosystem and let art and culture be at the core.
You are flexible and responsive to the creative
processes.

The course consists of lectures and seminars, field
trips, study circles, discussions, group work,
independent study and presentations.
