The aim of the course is for the student to

- Understand the different processes and phases
of event production
- Develop skills needed to produce events
- Develop insights into the event and festival
field
- develop insights into virtual events

After completing the course, the student is
expected to be able to

- Master the basics of creating cultural events
- Plan, organize, evaluate and develop an event
and the operations around it
- Know virtual events and be able to identify what
opportunities, challenges and areas of development
there are within them

How does event production work in practice? How
are cultural events planned, organized,
evaluated and developed?

During the course, we go through the various
phases and sub-areas of event production and how
to produce events in a successful way. The
emphasis is on the theoretical, which in
practical exercises is tested and compared with
how it actually works at events. During the
course, we also get acquainted with virtual events
and the opportunities and challenges associated
with them.
