Competency aims

The aim of the course is that students know and can evaluate which
method is most appropriate for different research projects

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to -
is able to apply the research process in a systematic and flexible
manner in the process of creating his/her Bachelor’s Thesis, and
in projects
- follows the ethical principles of research in R&D processes
- understands and is able to use qualitative and quantitative
methods
- can scrutinize and analyze scientific texts and sees the
connection between research and practical development work
- can employ evidence-based knowledge

Reading circle 1)
Introduction

Read 10 . introductions from different examination papers ( at
least two must be from some other cultural producer training
Metropolia , Humak etc. You can find them at theseus )

Choose your favorite introduction:
Write down :
- Starting points and objectives for the work. Please feel free to
support the evaluation criteria for theses.
- What is the writer wants the thesis ?
- What do you think works well at work?
- Be ready to present your assessment orally to the group.

named something else) from different examination papers ( at

- Your reflections on the thesis with regard to sources, material
collection and processing
o How mastered writer literature and other sources ?
o Does the choice of method motivated?
- Be ready to present your assessment orally to the group.

theseus , chapters can also be called other things , such as
theory , or Muiskfältet etc.).
An excellent thesis is based is based on a comprehensive ,
current and relevant source material , covering both theoretical
background material, as project activities and applications in the
field
- Refer to writing your favorite chapter (3000 characters)
- Analyze : Is bekgrundsmaterialet comprehensive , current and
relevant. Justify.
- Be ready to present your assessment orally to the group

Gather your notes and commentary in a work diary in which you
reflect on what you learned and how you can use it in your
research project (final work). Submit working guide to the
