Competency aims
The aim of the course is for students to reflect and analyse over their own experience and the challenge he/she faced in visual storytelling.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the students have analysed a creative process he/she have experienced and developed deeper ability to reflect on visual storytelling and its message.
Course contents
The outcome of the course will be an essay of about 5-10 A4 pages. The essay should be "your story" about visual storytelling. Your story should be about a challenge you faced, a dilemma in real life when you worked with visual storytelling. You must write the essay in the first person, as if you were to find yourself in a challenging situation right now. Remember that you are in the creative process and you have a challenge to solve.
You should refer to the literature and films related to the same challenge as you are in the process.
The course begins with a meeting with the supervisor in witch you briefly explain your idea. Together with the supervisor you make a plan how to proceed with the work.
