Competency aims
The aim of the course is that students can analyse
films and talk about them.
Students learn to watch films from different
cultures.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the students are expected
to be able to reflect upon what they have seen in
film.
Student can talk about substance of the films.
Course contents
ATTENTION!
Course lessons are held online. Links to films are
given on Zoom meetings.
Cilect - organisation for film schools around the
world organize a competition where three best
student films are selected in different categories
- best animation, best fiction and the best
documentary.
In most schools student vote for the best films.
For us that is done with course Cilect Prize.
Under course student look somewhat 300 films -
about 60 hours on film.
Students get a glimpse of how different schools
and different students make film in different
cultures. Students must be able to talk about
films - reflect over that they have seen. Students
have to be able to make their toughts to speaking.
Course give competens to analyse different types
of films. And do it quickly.
