Competency aims
The aim of the course isto deepen the knowledge of accessibility and participation as part of the rehabilitation work at an individual, group and societal level.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to identify the aspects of accessibility at an individual- group- and society level. Understand the meaning of ecological theory for activity and participation. Have basic knowledge of design for all.
Course contents
Definitions and theories of accessibility and participation. Empowerment as part of the participation perspective.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
A bachelor degree and at least three years work experience gained after completing the higher education degree
