Competency aims
The aim of the course is that the student have a deepened knowledge of different quantitative and qualitative methods in the research process. Know the science philosophy, theory and ethics. The student show ability to independently plan a research design based on scientific methods.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to critically read and evaluate scientific articles, reports and thesis conducted with a quantitative and a qualitative approach.

A bachelor degree and at least three years work experience gained after completing the higher education degree
