The aim of the course is that the student:
-is familiar with the Arcada and Diak way of
thinking, such as a developing work attitude
and the
basics of professional critical reflection
- knows how to steer their professional growth
process
towards a developing work attitude and
professional
critical reflection
- is familiar with Arcada's and Diak?s study
principles and learning tools.

The course presupposes that the student participates in the scheduled teaching and performs the specified course assignments.

The course introduces critical thinking as a starting point for studies at polytechnics. The student trains his ability for a reflective ongoing learning process as a competence and a critical self-evaluation approach.

In the learning tasks, the student becomes acquainted with the learning platform Diakle as a tool and the course's written presented material on the learning platform.

The student also completes tasks in information technology. Some of the tasks are performed independently and some during lesson time.
