The aim of the course is that student are able

Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is
expected

know the most common causes for threats for the
newborn and knows how to treat these causes
understand what consequences of complications

pregnancies and delivery has for the health of

child and fetus.
be able to act in first aid situations and

apply knowledge in medicine, technology and
midwifery in treating the asfyctic, infected,
injured, sick or malformed child
have knowledge of the most common examinations
according to placenta function, alterations in
