The aim of the course is for the student to get
knowledge of public health at a large scale and
deepen the knowledge of health promotion for

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected
to be able to:
- acknowledge and assess the issues in public
health
- know the effects habits of living have on
national diseases and their prevention through the
lifespan.
- to know the work in out-patients care
- to be able to do an assessment of need for
treatment in order to guide to suitable care
within out-patient´s care.
- to know the Theory of Health Care as the base of
the work in health care
