The student develops her/his competence in the

clinical care. The student forms her/his

At the end of the course the student is expected
to be able

- take care of the patient with medical or
surgical problems

- understand the basics of the perioperative

- Patient assessment
- Central caring activities and examinations in
the care of
the medical-surgical patient
- The decision process in health care; planning,
implementation and assessment of the caring
- Medication administration
- The basics of the pre, intra and post
operative
care of
the patient
