The aim of the course is for the student to get
knowledge of public health at a large scale and
deepen the knowledge of promoting health for
- working age population
- the aging population
- society and community
- the care of out patients

At the end of the course the student is expected
to be able to:
- acknowledge and assess the issues in public
health
- know the effects habits of living have on
national diseases and their prevention through
the lifespan.
- to know the work in out-patients care
- to be able to do an assessment of health needs
to guide to efficient care within out-patiet´s
care.
- to know the theory of Health care as the base
of the work in Health Care

- current issues of public health
- out patients care of adults
- projects
- examination assignment on national diseases in
the lifespan.
- the theory of health care
- attending Public Health day 2020 (if possible)

Examination in theory of health care
Examination assignment about national diseases
Attending simulations and training sessions
