Particle 1: ETHICS
After completing the study unit (knowledge):
- You have a theoretical understanding of
philosophical foundations and ethical theories in
health care work.
- You understand the ethics of caring and the
basic categories of the caritative ethics
After completing the study unit (skill):
- You are able to work in accordance with the
values, ethical principles and guidelines of care
work and to evaluate how they are applied in daily
care work.
- You can apply the nursing code of ethics and
promote principles of individual autonomy and
self-determination in nursing practice.
After completion of study unit (approach):
-You understand human dignity and human rights.
-You understand the values, principles and ethical
guidelines in health care work and understand the
importance of reflecting on your own internal
ethics.

Particle 2: CANCER
After completing the study unit (knowledge):
- You have an understanding of the interaction
between health resources and health barriers
caused by cancer in adult patients.
After completing the study unit (skill):
- You will be able to apply central cancer care
activities and assessments.
After completion of study unit (approach):
- You know the basic care of the adult cancer
patient.

Particle 3: PALLIATIVE CARE
After completing the study unit (knowledge):
- You will deepen your knowledge of palliative
care and end-of-life care.
After completing the study unit (skill):
- You have the skills to meet seriously ill people
and their relatives and have the ability to apply
different care methods in palliative care.
After completion of study unit (approach):
- You can support the patient at the end of life
to live a dignified life with the greatest
possible well-being.
- You strive for a high quality of life in a
terminal illness as the end of life approaches.

Particle 4: SEXUAL HEALTH AND PREGNANCY
After completing the study unit (knowledge):
- You have a theoretical knowledge and
understanding of sexual health and its many
facets.
-You have a basic understanding of reproductive
health.
After completing the study unit (skill):
- You can use your basic knowledge of sexual and
reproductive health in healthcare work.
After completion of study unit (approach):
- You have a foundation for a professionally sound
approach to sexual and reproductive health in the
healthcare context.
-Your approach supports diversity in sexual and
reproductive health.

Particle 5: CARE OF CHILDREN
After completing the study unit (knowledge):
-You have basic knowledge in supporting and
promote the well-being of families with children.
-You have basic knowledge of healthy child
development and paediatric care.
-You know the specificities of children and
adolescents as patients.
