After completing the study unit (knowledge):
- You know how the documentation and reporting
process takes place in surgical care
-You know the most common drug groups and their
indications/contraindications in the care of the
surgical patient
- You know the care and can prevent pain and
nausea with medical and non-medical methods

You can implement the basics of surgical patient
care
- You can systematically assess and evaluate the
surgical patient's condition using various
measuring instruments
- You can supervise the patient before, during and
after a procedure/operation

-You identify, reflect on and analyze surgical
